Karen Chalfen, author

Karen Chalfen grew up in Rhode Island but has lived most of her life in Massachusetts. She chaired a school board and wrote her first novel, Fair Weather by Noon, while living in Orleans. After moving to Boston, she worked for 17 years at Harvard Project Zero in Cambridge. She enjoys travel, creative cooking, getting lost in a “good read,” stimulating conversation, and swimming in tropical waters or a chilly bay.
